Eli Roth’s Trailer Trash … “Thankgiving” Redux for 2 hours or something else?

I like Eli Roth … quite a bit. Does that make me sadistic or evil? Maybe … and I’m fine with that.

I loved his trailer for the fake movie Thanksgiving in the Grindhouse

movie. Now he apparently intends to make a whole movie of just trailers called “Trailer Trash”. While I will withhold judgment until I see it, something makes me concerned about this.

I’m concerned that it will either feel like an awfully long commercial without any semblance of a storyline, characters, or interest … or it will be an genius twist on the decade old skit format. I have faith in Roth … at least for now.

Trailer Trash is scheduled for release on August 22nd.
